The Adaptive Membrane Construction System transforms the ephemeral nature of pneumatic membranes into durable building components. Through manual polyurethane spraying, it enables rapid construction and optimizes the process using Grasshopper-designed spray structures, simulations, and onsite adjustments to enhance efficiency and precision. This system allows participants to co-create, with each spray detail directly shaping the final design of the membrane structures. By integrating additive manufacturing, manual craftsmanship, and flexible prefabrication techniques, the project turns transient processes into lasting architectural forms, offering innovative solutions for rural development, remote construction, and extreme environments.
